Project Examples

Requirements

It is up to the company to come up with a job description and project for the student. Students will spend 200 hours over the summer (distribution can vary - condensed or spread out) working with your business.

As this is a course for which students receive academic credit (and receive simultaneous remote instruction) the internships are not paid.

Students come from a diverse range of academic backgrounds (business, STEM, and a mix of other fields).

Examples for jobs offered in the past are:

  • Marketing intern
  • Business development intern
  • Market research analyst
  • Accountant and bookkeeping assistant

Companies are encouraged to invite their students to participate and take active roles in staff meetings, events and other meeting as appropriate.

Currently we are seeking 1 employer in Richmond, BC or Vancouver, BC to take on an intern in Summer 2019.
