Collaborating on this project with Typha Co. was a great experience that deepened my understanding of GIS-based ecological assessments. Despite some technical challenges, I gained valuable experience in integrating hydrological, LiDAR, wetland inventory, and topographical data to evaluate wetland sites. The project reinforced the importance of balancing environmental conservation with practical implementation factors such as accessibility and infrastructure. I appreciate the opportunity to contribute to this important work and look forward to seeing future advancements in sustainable Typha harvesting efforts.
