Details

The goal of this project is to design and develop a prototype for a social media platform that facilitates connections between entrepreneurs and professionals interested in collaborating on startup ventures in exchange for equity. This platform aims to streamline the process of finding and engaging with potential partners who are willing to contribute their skills and expertise for stock options, thereby fostering innovation and entrepreneurship. The platform should include features such as user profiles, a search function to find professionals by skill set, and a messaging system to facilitate communication. The project will allow learners to apply their knowledge of web development, user interface design, and database management in a practical setting. By the end of the project, students will have a deeper understanding of how to create a user-friendly and functional online networking tool tailored to the needs of startup communities.

Deliverables

The primary deliverable is a functional prototype of the social media platform, including a basic user interface, user registration and login features, and a search and messaging system. Additional deliverables include a project report detailing the design process, challenges faced, and solutions implemented. The team will also provide a presentation demonstrating the platform's features and potential impact on the entrepreneurial ecosystem.
