Roles/Responsibilities:

The intern’s role will include tasks such as below as well as other needs the organization may have:​

  • Competitive Research
  • UX/UI Concept Development
  • Online UX Course content and site development etc.


Project Scope:

The intern will be working on projects related to:

  • Web3+UX
  • Tech Startup Client Projects
  • Online UX Courses
  • IxDA Vancouver etc.
Deliverables

- Strategic goal setting & timeline

- Assess the current product concept with the team

- Technological briefing with client

- Research & conduct competitive analysis

- Conduct a research debrief, analysis & insights, value proposition/positioning

- Help determine the set of personas

- Create the mental model of each Persona

- Create a user journey map for the current pain points & the future ideal experience

- Brainstorming session with the key stakeholders

- Create a rapid paper prototype

- Help create the product interaction flow & architecture

- Create wireframes of the key screens

- Create the visual interface design of the key screens

Mentorship

Students will connect directly with senior designers/managers for mentorship throughout the project.

We will be able to provide students with:

- Coaching student in the end to end process of User-Centered Design / User Experience

- Guidance in translating user insights into product features

- Advice in communication and project management skills

- Expose students to UX industry wide commonly used software such as Figma, Invision, Mural, Respondent.io
