Details

Kids At Risk Action (KARA) is seeking to enhance the reach and impact of its podcast series, which focuses on issues affecting at-risk children. The goal of this project is to coordinate the podcast series across multiple media platforms to increase audience engagement and awareness. The project will involve developing and implementing a cohesive strategy for distributing podcast episodes on various platforms such as YouTube, Spotify, and Apple Podcasts. Additionally, the team will create promotional content to accompany each episode, ensuring consistent branding and messaging. This project provides an opportunity for learners to apply their knowledge of media coordination, digital marketing, and content creation in a real-world setting. The tasks are closely related and can be completed by a team of learners from a communications or media studies program.

Deliverables

The deliverables for this project include creating launching a comprehensive media distribution strategy for podcast dissemination. The team will also produce a series of promotional materials, such as social media posts and short video clips, to accompany each podcast episode.

Additionally, a final report summarizing the project's outcomes and recommendations for future podcast series coordination will be required. These deliverables will demonstrate the learners' ability to apply classroom knowledge to a practical project, focusing on media coordination and digital marketing strategies.

If practical, KARA would like to explore a longer term relationship with the course director.
