advertising promotion sales & marketing marketing strategy researchThe Experience More initiative at Thompson Rivers University is seeking proposals for several 10-12 week projects from a variety of organizations that have project needs in the fields of digital marketing, IT programming, finance, sustainability, public relations, business, operations, finance, communications, psychology and writing. Organizations need only to present their real-world problems to solve and groups of Bachelor of Arts, New Media, Business, Computer Science and Journalism students or individual students will select the projects to work on for the term of the experiential learning opportunity.
Bring on one or more students from Thompson Rivers University enrolled in Co-op Education to work with you in a project-based experience. Students are available between 30-50 hours (over the duration of the course) for the project experience from (October 1) to (Dec 15).
Learners
Deliverables will vary depending on the scope of the project. The student should complete a min 30 hours and max of 50 hourse hours with your organization by Dec 15th, 2022
Typical final project deliverables could include:
- Final project report
- Digital Marketing Project plans
- Completed data sets for unique project goals
- Final presentations and supporting documents, manuals, etc.

Requirements
Students in TRU's Coop Program come from a variety of educational backgrounds and can complete a substantial project for your organization over the course duration
Due to the variety of student educational backgrounds, project examples that students can complete may include, but are not limited to:
(1) Digital Market Research:
• Research a target market segment and/or consumer base for insights into best practices and marketing potential.
• Provide comparative analysis for a given market against other similar entities.
• Include recommendations and examples for business generation and outreach.
• Great for: start-ups, tech, finance, quite literally any type of company!
(2) Public Relations and communications
- Perfect for a variety of organizations
(3) Data Analytics/Report Writing:
• Compiling, cleaning, processing, warehousing, etc. of any type of data relevant to your operations and your goals.
• Research on data tools and recommendations for how to automate, collect, house, and/or improve your future/ongoing analytics processing needs. Programming, IT support etc.
• Great for: green economy, healthcare, innovation, regulatory, sales, digital technology-focused companies, etc.
