A well-designed user experience builds trust and loyalty with your target audience. UX design creates a positive and well-defined customer journey. In this project, students will implement the UX design process to provide you with an optimized prototype for your website or app. Note: I have taught this course since Feb 2020 and I have had 85+ successful clients thus far. Due to the vast amount of applications, I may not be able to respond to all of you. Please be clear about what your organization does and why you would benefit from the students working on your app or website. The project will begin March 23 - May 11 Please note you're required to dedicate a minimum of a 45-1 hour check-in with the student team every week. Thanks and good luck!

PRIVATE THE SCHOOL OF CONTINUING STUDIES EXPERIENCE FOR THE SCHOOL OF CONTINUING STUDIES STUDENTS ONLY Advance Ontario connects eligible Ontario post-secondary students with remote internships to build in-demand skills. Ontario employers mentor students through paid 60-hour projects over 2-8 weeks. Powered by Riipen, the program promotes workforce diversity and aims to create lasting job opportunities while boosting Ontario’s economy. Visit our Help Centre to read our key dates , FAQs & our Terms and Conditions .   Employers:  Submit your project match request by February 14th, 2025 to participate in this cohort. You'll review applications and choose 1-4 students for your project. You must accept at least one student by February 28th, 2025 to participate. The project can start anywhere from January 20th, 2025 until March 3rd 2025 , and work cannot begin until the start date. Students must complete the onboarding survey, click "start project" on Riipen and complete all deliverables, including 60 work log hours, in at least 2 weeks or by the end date. There are 50 spots in this cohort, and once filled, remaining applications will be canceled. If invited, you must apply to projects by February 28th, 2025 and start by March 3rd, 2025 if accepted. You can apply to THREE projects at a time. Once an employer accepts one of your applications, your remaining applications will be canceled, and that project will be yours for the rest of the cohort. 

Documenting current state operations Assessing capabilities and creating detailed process flows Introducing automation and time/cost saving measures to boost efficiency Detect and measure defects and make recommendations to enhance performance/resilience Lead collaboration sessions to enhance team awareness and find opportunities to optimize process flow.

In the final course of the Advanced Data Science and Predictive Analytics Certificate, students spend 8 weeks creating an analytics solution/model for your organization. This capstone project includes analysis of a real-life scenario, including business problem framing, translating to an analytical problem statement, data collection, preparation, integrating, modelling and analyzing and will result in a final report/ presentation that outlines recommendations and a solution deployment plan.
