Jacob was a tremendous resource to work with over this program. He came with his own ideas about how to deliver on the proposals within the program, and worked independently and effectively on implementing them. He proactively scheduled meetings and was very effective at communications and at managing deadlines. He was a pleasure to work with, and I would thoroughly recommend him for other work.

Learner feedback
Jacob was a tremendous addition to the team. He came with a bunch of his own ideas, and worked diligently on implementing them over the course of the project. He was very independent, working with minimal oversight, and highly communicative, proactively setting up meetings and following through on deliverables. He was a pleasure to work with.

Minimum viable product for AI application

The purpose of the project is to create a minimum viable product for AI application in grant writing. More specifically, to integrate an AI assistant asking humans a series of specific questions and recording the answers, recognition of the voice by AI, and filling out the form based on the analyzed responses by AI. The responses for the form must be enhanced by AI. For the MVP, we can limit the prototype to 5 questions.

Product Search Ranking

Update and create a better product search ranking algorith. This will allow the user to have a relevant product results. For Example: ranking clothes and shoes above accessories and books when there is no search query. Example 2: Search Query "cashmere sweater", the system return Cashmere Sweaters not products that has the word cashmere and another product that has sweater in its description.

Website Testing and Development

Our early-stage company is an e-commerce pharmacy for recommended non prescription (OTC products). We hope to gain a renewed understanding of the features and design that our target market would prefer on our website. We would like to collaborate with students to further refine the website, remove any issues and finalize the website for launch. This will involve several different steps for the students, including: Front-end: Conducting user testing to ensure the user flow and features of the website are fully functional. Identify modifiable features that could increase user activities on our website. Back-end: Discussing processes that could improve uploading products to the site Development: Implementing the recommended changes to our website. Students applying should have experience with Wordpress websites.
