Fieldwork in Human Relations F21

Are you looking to provide additional or expanded services to your clients, or work on special projects but don't have adequate resources or time to do so? Our students have successfully completed a comprehensive range of courses, cultivating skills around understanding organizations and communities and facilitating interventions in small group settings. As facilitators, they will be able to assess the situation, identify needs and develop new programs or initiatives, and help your organization build effective teams. Their well developed interpersonal and communication skills will most likely be assets to your business or community environment.

Community Development

Does your organization have a community development-related project or organizational need for which you would like to receive support from talented students in order to achieve the desired results? In this course, 4th year students, working in team of 4, will help your organization identify community structures and inter‑group dynamics relevant to your organization’s intervention planning, gather and organize data, develop intervention plans that involve the community each step of the way and that foster leadership within its ranks, as well as evaluate said intervention. Attention will be given to cultural diversity and value differences.
